Appointment of Certifier

Your time spent on this short form will save you having to fill out several long government applications. (Yes we've just given you hours of your life back!) IF YOU WISH TO PROCEED WITH APPOINTMENT OF OUR CERTIFIER AND COMMENCEMENT OF THIS PROJECT - THE FOLLOWING CLIENT GUARANTEE MUST BE SUBMITTED. Following this, you will be contacted for an appointment.

Completing this form verifies my irrevocable commitment to the terms below. (A copy of these terms will be emailed to you after this job is processed).(Required)

I/we give authority for Residential Reports to carry out building certification, liaise with Access Canberra on my/our behalf and obtain information from my building file in order to complete this project. I understand a number of mandatory government applications will be sent to me to docu-sign (secure digital signature) and until I complete this step the approvals process will be delayed.

Important Note(Required)

I/we understand that commencement of this project does not guarantee that approvals will be granted. (You will be notified immediately if the Environment & Planning Directorate, ICON or Transport Canberra & City Services advise that they will not progress an application).

Additional Inspections(Required)

I/we accept that Residential Reports reserves the right to charge $220 (plus gst) per hour for extra inspections requested or in addition to the statutory inspections required by the Building Act 2004.

Remedial Works, Plumbing & Electrical Approvals(Required)

I/we understand the quotation provided does not include the cost of any of the services above (if required - they will be confirmed on inspection and we can refer you to our contacts list if you wish).

Project Cancellation(Required)

Should this project be cancelled for any reason, I/we accept that Residential Reports reserves the right to charge $220 (plus gst) per hour for services rendered from the point of submitting this form up to the point of notification in writing of cancellation. Deferred payment terms will then no longer apply and payment will be required within 7 days.

Personal Guarantee (please select one)(Required)

My property has been listed for sale or will be listed for sale within 6 weeks of this declaration. I request a deferred payment option and make a personal guarantee that the Residential Reports Invoice issued to me will be paid in full: on settlement, within 180 days of the date of inspection or within 14 days of being withdrawn from market, whichever comes first.
